Dijon, France – ‘Special Award’ (August 2009)
– HANDS received a trophy. We were not part of the International Folkloriada Competition as we were invited as ‘special guest performers’ for the opening. The panel of judges liked our performance so much that they decided to give us a special award, which is a first in the sixty (60) years of this festival’s existence! And it happened on 31 August 2009, our Malaysia National Day!
